If you can muster up the energy to make it to your mat on a day when you’re struggling, feeling tired, or maybe a little bloated, this is the perfect class for you to keep handy in your yoga toolkit. We'll be doing a lot of gentle twists today... It feels SO good! It brings fresh blood flow to all of your muscles and organs so that they can get a jump start. This helps with digestion and constipation, as well as bloating. Twisting yoga poses are also associated with the 3rd chakra, or ManiPura (the Solar Plexus Chakra). Especially if you're battling something like IBS or anxiety and stress-related constipation, slow digestion can be downright painful. Rather than reaching for a laxative, try drinking lots of water, eating lots of plant-based fiber, and incorporating some of these super gentle moves into your daily routine!
