Yoga & meditation teacher
Today, we are focusing on the first chakra (muladhara) which directly translates to root for an amazing grounding yoga sequence. It is directly located at the base of the spine, and you can visualize it in your practice as a ball of red glowing energy or like a molten lava that you'll find at the center of the earth. The root chakra represents the element of survival, we can't blossom into our best selves and journey up for through the rest of the chakras until our basic needs like food, shelter, water, safety are already met. This chakra represent your security, your stability, and it's represented by the earth element.
From my heart to yours, Namaste!
