This 30-minute Kundalini kriya is a fun and stimulating way to boost the immune system! it is perfect for beginners who want to try an authentic Kundalini yoga class and can be done in the morning to boost your energy.
Today we are doing a 30-minute Kundalini kriya that is great for beginners. This Kundalini practice focused on supercharging your immune system by targeting the adrenals and the kidneys. We begin in a seated position with a really grounding Kundalini breathing exercise, using the lotus mudra to build our energy. Then we transition into Breath of Fire, again using a hand mudra to support the process. This breathing technique works the adrenal glands, giving us extra support in the immune system.
We build on top of the breathwork by adding a mantra to chant with each breath. We continue with a series of kriyas that all support the immune system on the physical level and our chakra system on the energetic level. Kundalini yoga is all about moving energy, so these kriyas help facilitate that movement. It's a fun yet powerful Kundalini sequence that teaches you to trust the science of yoga, even if it feels silly!
