This quickie 5-minute morning yoga stretch is a must have to keep in your back pocket! Not only is it fast, but it's an easy class for all levels. You can do it any time, any place!
This class is perfect if you're short on time in the morning! In just 5 minutes, you'll shake out all the sleepy cobwebs from your stiff, achy muscles and get prepped for a beautiful morning. We start with some deep cat/cow stretches to slowly wake up the body before evolving into a downward facing dog, pedaling through the feet to wake up our calves. We'll then we do a couple of flat back postures— focus on telescoping the spine long, away from your pelvis.
Once standing, we begin to flow through a sundial pose ( a JUICY marriage between side bends and a forward fold, with a little bit of a back bend!) We'll do Warrior 2 in each direction, and close with setting an intention for the day. Enjoy!!
