Join me for day 19 of the 2023 Evolve Yoga Challenge… you are almost there! In today’s powerful class, we will be focusing on releasing emotional pain.
Repeat after me: it is safe for me to feel anger. It is safe for me to feel and process pain. Today we will use these affirmations to help us move emotion through our body in a healthy way. We’ll begin in child’s pose. I love to use my time on the mat to process what’s going on in my daily life, alchemize it, and transform it into something new. We’ll next move into some powerful cat cows that move a little fast than you might be used to, so we can pump energy through the spine, releasing anything that doesn’t serve. As we continue moving through powerful poses like bear claws and sundials, always keep in mind that in order to process and release emotions, we must feel safe. You are always welcome to return to child’s pose if that helps you!
