Join me for a powerful emotional release practice if you’ve been dealing with burnout! This is day 11 in the Evolve Yoga Challenge, so welcome back!
Your emotions are valid. Your emotions are potent energy waiting to be released through your body. In this class, we’re going to work with dynamic movement, taking the head below the heart. Each of these poses can be practiced in isolation, so while we’ll flow through them together now, take these tools into your daily life. We’ll start standing with one of my favorites; open-mouthed exhales as we fall into a drop swing. Let whatever is bothering you exit the body through the mouth. We’ll then move into some juicy side-body reaches before evolving into our goddess squat. Release anything that isn’t serving you. We’ll close with some shaking of the limbs; a fantastic way to release stuck energy! Animals shake in nature as part of their natural pranic discharge– but somehow, we as humans have forgotten how to do this, and we need to remind ourselves!
