Travis Eliot is a world renowned yoga and meditation teacher, author, best known for creating life-changing programs, workshops and trainings. His videos have impacted hundreds of thousands of students in over 85 countries, making him one of the most sought after teachers in his field.
He teaches his signature Holistic Yoga Flow classes in Los Angeles and in workshops, festivals and retreats around the world. His style is intensely dynamic and has inspired many of today’s top athletes, celebrities, and entertainers.
Born in Houston, Texas Travis’ parents worked for NASA. Soon after, his family moved to Winston-Salem, NC where he spent the rest of his childhood. At 9 years old, his mom introduced him to meditation — he spent hours meditating with cassette tapes and reading many books about spirituality. As he grew up, he also found a passion for cinema. In high school, he worked at various TV stations continuing to develop a greater love for filmmaking, this eventually led him to attend East Carolina University. At ECU, Travis connected with other like minded artists spending as much time as possible working in front and behind the camera. He was addicted to the power of storytelling and how it could change people’s lives.
After college Travis moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and made a living working on commercials, TV and even a big budget movie starring John Travolta, Vince Vaughn and Steve Buscemi. It wasn’t long before Travis, along with two friends, decided it was time to take their big dreams to Hollywood. There were a lot of highs and lows during this time period, involving an indulgence of alcohol, drugs and partying. Bad choices lead to bad outcomes and soon Travis hit rock bottom — nearly broke and disconnected from his authentic self.
And then one day he was dragged to his first yoga class with Govindas at Santa Monica Power Yoga, and it was love at first sight. This first class was physically intense, spiritual and exhilarating. At the end of the class, during the final resting pose, Govindas sang a chant and the music brought Travis back to that same 9-year-old kid, it was like a homecoming! He was instantly addicted to yoga, meditation and chanting — immediately dropping all negative habits and toxic relationships.
From this point he was on the highway of radical transformation. After surviving a near-death experience in Kauai and another during the Thailand tsunami in 2004, Travis Eliot dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of yoga and meditation to as many people as possible.
He is the creator of the groundbreaking programs Level Up 108, Flexibility & Beyond, The Ultimate Yogi, Yoga 30 for 30, along with many other best-selling yoga DVDs. He is the author of A Journey Into Yin Yoga, which debuted as the #1 “Amazon’s Hottest NEW Release” in the Yoga category, and co-author of Holistic Yoga Flow: The Path of Practice. His highly acclaimed chant album, The Meaning of Soul, debuted at #3 on the iTunes world music chart.
He is the co-CEO of Inner Dimension TV, director of Holistic Yoga Flow 200/300 hour teacher trainings, and a member of the faculties of the prestigious Kripalu Institute and 1440 Multiversity. As a Yoga Alliance-certified E-RYT 500 instructor, certified Ayurvedic Practioner, Travis has been featured in Yoga Journal, Yoga Magazine, LA YOGA Ayurveda and Health, Mantra magazine, Om Yoga magazine, Conscious Lifestyle, Asana Journal, Self, Fitness Trainer, Access Hollywood, and The Huffington Post
Travis can be found teaching at conferences and festivals across North America, and selling out retreats in some of the most beautiful places in the world. In 2019 he launched The BE ULTIMATE Podcast, which quickly spread the teachings of yoga, meditation and daily wisdom to more than 85 countries across the globe.
When it comes to spreading the power of yoga, meditation and daily wisdom Travis has been honored to be featured across various national and international media outlets.

This relaxing yin yoga practice is perfect to promote relaxation and gently release tension from the body. World-renowned yoga and meditation teacher and author.
World-renowned yoga and meditation teacher and author.

Very often in life we move at a hurried and frenetic pace thrusting our nervous system out of balance. In this gentle yoga class, Travis invites you to slow down. Naturally, as you breathe and move slower, stress decreases and tranquility increases. Prepare to move through a combination of standing and seated poses in a slow, deep and mindful way.

World-renowned yoga and meditation teacher and author.

Welcome to Power Yoga NO EXCUSES -- day 8/30 of the EMPOWERED Yoga Journey.
The greatest champions live with a ‘no excuses’ mindset. On the days where the body is sore, the weather is bad, and unexpected events arise, they still show up to train. There’s always going to
be an excuse to not show up for your practice, but, if you want to become empowered you have to embody self-mastery. Be ready to flow through an invigorating power yoga flow with Travis.

World-renowned yoga and meditation teacher and author.

If you are looking for a gentle way to start the day with movement, then this class is perfect for you. Prepare to move through relaxing upper body movements almost like a yoga version of tai chi. This will be followed by a slow, relaxing version of sun salutations. The practice will end with seated and reclining floor stretches to create length and space through the body.
