Yoga & meditation teacher
Welcome back to Day 9 of the Evolve Yoga Challenge! Let’s release stagnant emotions so we can access more energy and more JOY!
We’re going to begin with a breath-activated pose where we cross our arms over our body, back, and then over our head as if we’re throwing a bucket of water behind us. This is one of my favorite techniques from the Kundalini yoga tradition to get what you need moving through and out your system. Good news; this is also a core exercise! So don’t be shy about engaging the abdominals and lifting the pelvic floor. Now throughout this practice, get clear on what it is you’re wanting to release. Is there something that’s been bothering you? You can’t release what you haven’t identified, so really get clear on this. As we harness more energy, joy, and vitality throughout the class today, we’re going to get ready to offer up this emotion and move it through our system when we close the practice!
